The shipbuilding steel plate grade DH36 is having good tensile strength. The LR Grade DH36 (LR DH36) shipbuilding steel is actually a hull structural steel that is having commendable toughness properties, greater strength and excellent corrosion resistance ability and welding properties. These Grade LR DH36 steel plates are used for manufacturing the ship hull structure weighing about 10000 tons plus.

Testing of the LR Grade DH36 material shipbuilding steel plates

There at the manufacturing plant to assure that manufactured ranges of Grade DH36 PLATE are of superior quality, the testing is conducted. The tests are like positive material identification test, hardness test, intergranular corrosion test, pitting resistance test, mechanical test, chemical test etc are conducted.

Documenting of the Grade DH36 material shipbuilding steel plates

The documents by the suppliers to their clientele are provided essentially to assure that when the deal is done, 100% fairness is maintained. The ranges of documents offered to the buyers are commercial invoice, packaging list, heat treatment chart, raw material test report, material traceability report, guarantee letter. Also, they offer mill test certificate to the buyers as per EN 10204/3.1B.

Packaging at the industry

For assuring that after doing a lot of hard work and putting greater efforts in manufacturing the stunning quality of Grade DH36 steel plates, no damages should ruin its quality. Thus the packaging of the plates is done by using the plywood cases/pallets and is wrapped into environmental poly bags.
